Yo!

Had a wicked gig in Manchester at the infamous ALBANY ROAD house, thanks to everyone who came out and played and ate cake. There was lots of cake, nice. We played with our pals Without Maps, more plans with them soon.

We are recording our first 7" for SNCL and Eat A Book Records with Boulty at Stuck on A Name in Nottingham. We will be producing and mixing this record ourselves. Hopefully you will enjoy it, check back for audio soon!

So we did this super wicked mega impulsive little three day stint opening up for Sauna Youth, who are super top dudes, this weekend just gone and now feel suitably destroyed.  These were our first gigs.

WHAT'S NEXT?


We are doing a 7" mini album thing on SNCL and Eat a Book records! This will be our first vinyl release and will be between 6 and 8 tracks, should hopefully cover a lot of ground in a short time, and be liked than more than the two people putting out the record. Three people if we're lucky.


This will be recorded with Boulty at Stuck on A Name and mixed and mastered by us.

Hello world, La Boite Diabolique is a DIY punk band from Nottingham, UK.


It's Joe, Phil and Jack, who were in / are in other bands.


Influences: Turn of the century late night channel 4 comedy. Black coffee. (some) Rock combos. 


We are going to release a C30 on our label Coffee Beat Cassettes. Not sure what it will be called, we will also release some other bands music.
